About TEDx

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations).

About the speaker

Kelli is the president of KMS Consulting and has facilitated Diversity and Inclusion workshops for educational, non-profit, government, and corporate institutions in the USA, Canada, and Europe since 1989.
She is currently co-authoring the African-American version of the Cultural Detective® (a tool to help develop cross-cultural competence in individuals and organizations). She is also currently coordinating a city-wide Racial Healing project in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA in collaboration with the Metropolitan Tulsa Urban League, the YWCA and the John Hope Franklin Center for Reconciliation.
