This is exactly why Jerry Lewis should win.

[By the way, I am not a Mormon, nor am I a member of any Church.]

We hope the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) community kicks out Russell Pearce form Legislative District 18 with FEARCE! Not only is Pearce a poor reflection on the LDS community with using ethnic slurs against Latinos, he is a very poor reflection of the Republican Party, in fact several sources are telling us that Latinos are leaving the LDS Church and the Republican Party due to Pearce's type of extremism.

See video for yourselves if you don't believe me with regard to Pearce using ethnic slurs AFTER he was told how demeaning it was to us!

Russell Pearce Continues To Use Ethnic Slurs Such as Wetback Against Latinos

Jerry Lewis will literally help the image of the LDS community. Not only can he help his Church, he will help the Conservative image, too.

We are not living in the pre Civil Rights era, folks....we are living in the new millenium and I don't understand why Pearce cannot have civil discourse and avoid what we believe is demeaning and derogatory. Wetback is a racial slur, and if Church establishments, organizations and / or Parties want Latinos included — then simply avoid what we deem as demeaning.

Speaking of civility, I did find a position from the LDS community with regard to how LDS members should be civil.
VOTE FOR JERRY LEWIS this Tuesday! * The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints * Official Newsroom for News Media, Opinion Leaders, and the Public * The Mormon Ethic of Civility
