ANCHOR: New tonight, national and state politicians met today to discuss homelessness here in Wisconsin. H.U.D. Secretary, Ben Carson, Congressman Sean Duffy, and Tonette Walker spoke in Rothschild. They say to keep people off the streets, organizations need to go beyond proving merely a shelter for those in need, but also give them proper support and training.
CARSON: A man will not beat addiction from the gutter. He will not get psychiatric help under a bridge. He will not find a steady job without a steady mattress.
