Queen Elizabeth steals the show at the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony on Friday night, as she debuts in what is believed to be her first movie role.

In a pre-recorded segment for the Opening Ceremony, the Queen and James Bond, AKA Daniel Craig, meet at Buckingham Palace.

She greets him with, "Good evening, Mr Bond."

Both then walk past the royal corgis, and take off in a helicopter to the Olympic Ceremony.

The action then switches live to the stadium, where the 86- year old Monarch is seen to jump out of the helicopter and parachute into the arena.

In reality, it was a bit of movie magic, as a stunt--person actually did the jump.

Her Royal Majesty really does have a sense of humor.
