can u tell me how to make the coil

the way I made my coils is I used a wire coat hanger, cut the bottom (long side) off at 1 end and opp (short side)up a bit. short end is handle for turning to make cool. using like 20 gauge wire, cool it along coat hanger. once you have it made, slide off coat hanger, slide into a base wire.....also 20gauge . slightly stretching cool just bit, and secure. wires in shape.

Very very nice and easy way to explain this art! Thanks! But I have the same question as Maritza Delgado: "Where the wires meet on the hoop, how do you join them to make them look so neat; join the coiling ends or do you twist the other wire's ends together? I've seen other videos where the wires look messy and very bulky when you join all the wires together at the top, but yours are neat. Thanx for your awesome tutorials!! :-)" Thank you very much! :) Keep it up! Nice job!!

HI I LIKE SO MUCH YOUR WORK. TELL ME HAW TOO DO THE STRING BECAUSE I DONST UNDERSTAND IT OR YOU BAY IT SO? THAKS A LOT

Thanks Karen.  I use embroidery thread.  Embroidery thread has about 4 or five strands twisted together. I usually thin the thread by pulling out one strand to make the thread earrings with.  However, for this demonstration I used the whole thread - I did not use one strand.  Usually I used one strand taken from the whole thread.  Anyway, if you go to my chanel you will see four or five videos on making thread earrings - they are all very short and one of them shows you how to separate the strands of embroidery thread - I have put that link at the top of this screen under "about". here it is http://youtu.be/nimff9Kxpg8
