Classroom blogs for teachers are one of the most powerful ways to improve home-school relationships and communication. In this Hangout On Air, I'll be working in in person with a group of full day kindergarten teachers and streaming the event online. We will discuss the reasons behind using a classroom blog, and the points you should consider about student privacy. You will learn how to use Blogger to set up your classroom blog, and tailor communications from your blog so that they reach parents where they are - on their cell phones!

The link to my instructions for setting up blogs can be found below, but this will be a great opportunity to see how it works, with real teachers who are new to blogging. It will be my first time delivering PD in this blended format, so we may have a few hiccups, but I'll clean up the video afterwards and share it on YouTube.
