The Xotic EP Booster pedal is a preamp pedal with a low impedance output.

The Xotic EP Booster is based around the classic preamp of an Echoplex and creates a sparkling tone that adds some high end shimmer and compression.

This Xotic EP Booster review and demo reveals up to 20db of gain with the two adjustable internal DIP switches to customize the boost function.

Some players even use two of these pedal with different settings.

One is a Bass/Gain Boost and the other is a Bright/Treble switch.

The standard setting is Bright on Bass/Gain Boost off.

This provides extra top end sparkle for the duller sounding instruments and is great for that extra edge or sparkle.

The Gain Boost adds just the right amount of low end chunk for single coil guitars.

By turning off the Bright Switch you can get a full frequency boost that is transparent.

This Xotic EP Booster review and demo also reveals how the pedal sounds with the gain setting at 9, 12 and 3 o'clock settings.
