This video takes viewers on a tour of the grounds, buildings and facilities at the Royal Alfred Seafarers' Society, a care home and charity for retired and disabled seafarers in Banstead, Surrey. Major focus is given to the Society's new specialist dementia care unit which opened in July 2011, the first of its kind for seafarers in the UK. This video is presented by well-known broadcaster and presenter Angela Rippon and features interviews with Chief Executive Brian Boxhall-Hunt, Home Manager Anne Kasey and a number of residents.
