The US is investigating an air traffic controller who slept as planes landed in Washington.

The country's aviation chief said he was "outraged" after the employee fell asleep on the job, leaving planes to land
in the capital without airport guidance.

Al Jazeera's Monica Villamizar reports from Washington.
