This summer I hand reared a baby tree swallow I had rescued from the cat. At the same time I was treating my pet mice for respiratory and skin infections, plus in twirling mouse Cove's case for a possible inner ear infection.

Note: I kept the little bird in her own tank. She is with the mice just for filming purposes. It was cute how she would open her beak for feeding if they approached her. The mice were not aggressive towards her, just curious. I fed her meal worms, moths and other insects as well as gave her the occasional eyedropper of water.
