www.aspect.co.uk is side-stepping the strong arm of the parking warden by hiring "van-sitters" to avoid its vehicles getting a ticket.
The £8-an-hour jobs are helping the company save hundreds of pounds in fines when its workmen need to visit clients.
It follows a successful initiative by the company, Aspect, which hired 25 young men to drive their staff's vans around the capital so they are kept moving and the workmen do not have to find a parking space.
Drivers wait in nearby streets for tradesmen to return and drive off if they see a traffic warden.
The firm said the sitters are particularly useful when the firm visits clients who live on red routes.
