Soprano Mónica Ferracani as Odabella in Verdi's Attila.

Captured by Attila, the ill-famed king of the Huns, princess Odabella explains that it is from the "love of their motherland" ("Santo di patria") that Italic women obtain their courage.

Impressed by her patriotic address, Attila presents her with his own sword.

Thus armed, Odabella secretly schemes her revenge over Attila, who has, among his many crimes, murdered her father.

Buenos Aires Lírica production of the piece, staged at the Avenida Theater in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The splendid sets and costumes were designed by the stage director himself, Marcelo Perusso.

The BA Lírica Orchestra was conducted with Verdian verve by maestro Javier Logioia Orbe
