a rollicking, wonderful noise was LeBon,
during their 10 year run in Portland, OR music circles.

Formed by music critic Rick Mitchell, this band set a standard for the alternative music crowd that went to see the band play.

A soul saved by a insistent dance groove, a standard Jazz or Rock tune deconstructed and delivered, a solo played with verve, virtuosity and feeling.

ALL these things were LeBon.
They were truly a band, ahead of their time in the 1980's

This show was recorded on Easter '86 at the 6th Avenue Club in downtown Portland by Multnomah Cable Access and directed by Bobby Torres. our special guest on conga drums. This is a new upload of this video with some cleaning done and new tricks.
