Here are a couple of recent fractal animation experiment clips with interesting results, including tests with starry sky image backgrounds (filmed with a Canon 5D Mk2) and visible light sources. Also making its debut in this video is the last unreleased track from the Mission Control CD (see below), completing the music video collection from that album.

The clips were calculated and rendered with Mandelbulb 3D as a series of still images which were assembled into video sequences, and then finally made into this finished production using Sony Vegas. The final rendering has many artifacts, strange cloaking effects and odd transparencies which I would eventually like to see smoothed-out and replaced with fine detail. There's lots to be learned with this software!

The soundtrack is "Quasar" from the "Mission Control" CD by Technician (yours truly), MP3 album and single track available on iTunes at: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/miss... full artist discography and CDs available at HTTP://technician.jcmdi.com
