Younadam Kanna's Treason

Few days before the establishment of the Iraqi Governing Council (Majles Al-Hokm) after the fall of Saddam, Younadam Kanna the head of the Assyrian Democratic Movement (Zowaa) did an interview with Australia's SBS radio. Kanna described why we MUST NOT accept to be known as Christians in the Iraqi political arena.

He said:

"The first step was how that council was created. At the beginning, two months ago, some forces were trying to direct and move us as Christians, which meant during this time, during these changes in the country, we would have been identified as Christians. The BIGGEST MISTAKE we could have made was THAT with all due respect to our religious and our faith because if we would have done so (As Christians) we would have:

1- Created hate between us and the Muslims

2- We would have been known as second degree citizenship, Ahl Al-Dhimma

3- And by doing so we would have attacked our national cause"

Ironically, few days after this interview, the traitor Younadam Kanna accepted the CHRISTIAN seat in Iraqi Governing Council. This is the answer to why our churches are being bombed and our people are being killed.
