Designed by Ethan Becker, the KA-BAR Becker BK13 Remora is an ideal backup knife for your larger survival blade. Mine stays in the sheath pouch of my Buck Hoodlum. It's fit perfectly and adds virtually no wieght to the loadout, but adds capability to my system. This is a useful knife for smaller tasks.

The hollow ground 440A stainless steel blade arrived very sharp from the factory. Finish of the knife is suprisingly good given the low cost. The sheath is plastic and is functional but nothing special. If you have a need for a small fixed blade for this purpose of use this knife is worth considering.
