Very rare video of a one-off Derek Bailey and Casey Rice performance in Chicago in November 2001. Derek had this to say about working with Casey:

"I like Casey Rice. He contributed to this thing I did for Bingo Records.

It's not a drum'n'bass record, I'd say merely half the tracks were drum'n'bass. One or two of them were really very nice, or three or four, but this guy Casey Rice, Chicago electronics guy or something, a very nice track. Fast as fuck and really shifting. Funnily enough, the old jazzers reckoned that the one thing you can't do with machines in make 'em swing, but these guys can make it swing and he does. A lot of it is just the impetus of it - things happening you couldn't have physically done, or things people wouldn't have attempted. It just skates them on in such a terrific rush, it's nice to play with certainly. Casey Rice, he's interesting. "
