The Search is on for Canada's Best Restroom! Nominations are now being accepted for the first annual Canada's Best Restroom Award, presented by Cintas Corporation. Submissions can be made at www.bestrestroom.com through April 26, 2010.

Up to 10 finalists will be announced in July, at which time the Internet public will be asked to cast votes. The winner will be announced in September and receive the coveted CBR plaque of recognition from Cintas during a formal ceremony and media event. The top five vote-getters will secure a place in the Canada's Best Restroom Hall of Fame found at www.bestrestroom.com.

Cintas Canada's Best Restroom contest is open to any non-residential restroom that is free of charge and open to employees, visitors or the general public. Nominators are not required to have a professional relationship with the business or staff that manages the facility, but personal experience is encouraged. Past champions of the US Best Restroom contest have boasted breathtaking skyline views, unique d├ęcor and sparkling fixtures.

Previous winners in the U.S. have included restrooms at University of Notre Dame; The Grand Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi; Kohler Art Center in Sheboygan, Wisconsin; the Fort Smith, Arkansas Airport; Wendells Restaurant in Westerville, Ohio; Jungle Jims International Market in Fairfield, Ohio; Hermitage Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee; and in 2009, Shoji Tabuchi Theatre in Branson, Missouri.

For more information or to set up an interview, please contact the survey editor, David Brandt, at 757-456-5212.
