VDS Najii is a talented and kind 2005 Arabian gelding who is fun to ride, successful in the show ring, and should move up the levels in dressage quickly. He is for sale at ranchitolibertad.com or the Ranchito Libertad Facebook page. This video shows Najii on a fairly typical schooling day, including warming up, changeability of gaits, shoulder in, haunches in, leg yield, and flying changes (schooling them-- not confirmed). It also includes footage of the rider performing a series of common rider errors at the end of the video so that potential buyers can see how he reacts to a variety of things. This was suggested by a buyer from outside of our geographic area who needed to see a lot of video before flying to see horses. I thought it was a great idea. So that you know what he's responding to, errors include things like snatching up the reins suddenly, dropping all contact, sitting the trot with a very rigid seat and/or dropped contact, asking for a canter suddenly with no contact, riding the trot on a VERY short rein with a rigid seat, and relying too much on inside rein. My goal is to give buyers a comprehensive picture of any horse before they make the time commitment to visit. Hopefully this video will let you know whether or not you and Najii form a match made in heaven. Overall he is a joy to ride, is outlandishly athletic, is smart, and is very beautiful. Until he is more seasoned as a dressage horse, a rider who is at least very comfortable at first level is recommended.
