At 1:30 am this morning of April 19, 2010, Edwin El Inca Valero ended his life by hanging himself in his cell where he was held for the murder of his wife Yennifer Carolina Viera, committed early yesterday at the Intercontinental Hotel in Valencia.

This was confirmed by Eloisa Vivas, mother of the world lightweight champion of the WBC by telephone to the police.
Valero, who at 6:00 am Sunday was arrested after confessing to killing his wife of 24 years, was waiting for the Public Prosecutors indictment for the murder and deprivation of liberty.

The general director of the prison Wilmer Flores Trosel officially announced that the death occurred in the cell where Valero was held. Valero uses his own clothes, having as support the gate of the cell. He was encouraged by a prisoner to end his life. He died from mechanical asphyxia, told the official press.

According to the report Trosel FloresĀ“s, troops listened duty scandal in the cells and upon arrival found Valero still with vital signs, but died instantly. Prosecutors and members of the CICPC are conducting investigations at the scene of the crime.
Trosel Flores also announced that it has not yet found the murder weapon, which took the life of Yeniffer Vivas Carolina early Sunday. We are conducting research in the hotel to find it.
