The ECA-funded Access English Micro scholarship Program at the Anjuman Higher Secondary School came to a happy close after graduating 6 groups of 367 first-generation high school English learners. The impact of the program was witnessed as increased confidence levels in listening, speaking, reading, and writing English skills, and improved leadership skills. The students are from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, some of whom even visited the U.S. on Youth Exchange Programs. (Video by U.S. Consulate General Chennai)
