This is not my usual fare, but the record itself is interesting enough to warrant a listen. In 1949, Al Grant recorded 11 songs for KING label records. 10 of them were released on the KING label as singles, this one was not. However, it was released for jukeboxes and this is one of the jukebox records. Both sides are identical, same label, same song, same matrix (K-1), just like the jukebox records from that era. So, this record was not released as a single but did apparently show up in some jukeboxes. This has got to be a rare issue. Later, Al Grant changed his name to Guy Mitchell, a very popular singer in his day. This song was added to a 1959 Guy Mitchell LP called 'Sincerely Yours', the first release for sale to the public.

Not a chart topper, but still very interesting....
