Assault Guide: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqeLbg...
Engineer Guide: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRgS-N...

In this guide I talk about all the weapons at the Support Class players disposal in Battlefield 3. This is a guide for the post patch weapons, and it will discuss how things have changed, how the weapons stack up against each other as well as compared to other classes, and of course what attachment setup I recommend for each weapon.

Weapons that I talk about are the M27 IAR, MG36, M249 Saw, M240B, M60E4, RPK-74M, QBB-95, PKP Pecheneg, and the Type 88 LMG,

The M27 was so accurate before the patch to run and gun, miss that now. But all support guns are amazing with bipod. Great vid, i subed

Exactly -.- But thats why I use a P-90 now with short bursts ;D. Noticed PDW are still usable for mid range.

First thanks for the feedback, I truly do appreciate it. Second, I think your expecting too much from these guides. They are just that, guides, no wiki's, for players adjusting to the patch. It's important to get these out in a timely manner, so I had to limit a)length of video b)time playing with new weapons. There isn't much sense in a Post Patch guide coming out a month after the patch.

Thank you, I appreciate it, and glad you find them useful. Truth is, i wont lie, there is a part of me that feels like a fraud when I do some of these because I probably am not qualified to talk about a weapon, but I try my best and hope it helps.

I have spent about 1 hour per weapon post patch that I have reviewed. Doesn't sound like much I know, but that's over 29 weapons. I am forced to get an opinion quickly, it stinks, but logistically there is no way I could play to 500 kills, and interview people with more experience and still get these out in a timeframe where people are still interested. I do plan to do single weapon videos that will get into details so make sure you let me know which you'd like to see, I'd be glad to do it!

Yeah I agree, I think it really has to be a mistake/bug as it really swings that weapon out of whack, especially when compared to the IAR which is the other support starter weapon. Other wierd stuff is like the heavy barrel shown on the IAR on Battlelog at 300 kills yet you can't get it, and the extended mags for the MG36. Strange things going on ...

Oh and lastely, I purposely tried to stay away from "stats" as truthfully we really don't have any that we know are confirmed. Symthic is great, but I can't be sure that's 100% accurate and we all know Battlelog info is useless and as often wrong as it is correct. So in the absence of confirmed stats, I chose to ignor them and go by play experience and "feel." Far from scientific I know, but I felt it was the best way to go, as it all comes down to how the gun feels to the user anyway.

In 3 vids I have "reviewed 29 weapons, over 45 mins of content, about 1.5 mins per weapon (not counting intro/outro). This is by far the hardest part, as I just don't have time to get into too much detail when I talk about a gun. I have to give my quick opinion and state why, and then suggest some attachments, the idea is to get you pointed in a direction and let you figure out the rest.
When autoplay is enabled, a suggested video will automatically play next.
