Met up with my friend 87STEELE Friday night for some railfanning. After a failed attempt trying to catch WPCA-20, we went over to the Vineland Secondary in an attempt to catch CSAO WPMI-61 with CSX 'CRQ' GP40-2 #4428 (the last blue GP40-2 on CSX) and NS GP40-2 #3013. We went to check them out in Woodbury, expecting them to do some yard work...well wouldn't you know it, we heard over the scanner "WPMI-61, have a good night." and then 4428 came speeding through. We floored after that train. With not a minute to spare, we somehow managed to beat him to the pedestrian crossing in Brooklawn, NJ. This is the first video of 4428's new RS3L, which is extremely fouled. But hey, it's in blue, so I'm not complaining.

The next day, we woke up around 5:45. We hear a very nice surprise over the scanner. A Form D for an NS coal train on the Beeseley's Point Secondary. It was NS 502, under the symbol WPFC-80. The power was two Dash 9's sandwiching an SD70M-2. Not very common to see a daylight coal train on this line. A good start to the day.

We then head down to Landenburg Jct. along the CSX Philadelphia Subdivision. Finally beat my record of 2 trains. First train we see is westbound intermodal L171-04 with an ES40DC and 2 Bright Future C40-8's for power. Not to long after, westbound autorack Q217-04 heads through with an ES44AC and AC60CW for power. A little while after that, eastbound manifest Q410-03 appears with an ES40DC and C40-8W. After that, we made a brief pit stop, and then went back. Next thing that came through was eastbound manifest Q406-03, but since I was a dumbass and forgot to press record, that train is not included in this video. Power was an ES40DC and AC60CW. Final train at Landenburg was eastbound manifest Q370-03, which had a nice pair of Bright Future C40-8W's, leading one being an ex-Conrail.

After Landenburg, I went over to a different spot on the CSX Trenton Subdivision (GASP). I met up with my friend TraniacProductions at SEPTA's West Trenton Station in Ewing, NJ in hopes of catching CSX Q439-04 with ex-New Haven F7's dead in tow bound for Galveston, TX. Got there just in time as they passed shortly after I arrived. Next up was Q174-03 meeting Q417-04, both with the usual GE junk. Next, we see CSX Q301-04 with a pair of Bright future Dash 8's. Leading was C40-8W #7700 and C40-8 #7503 trailing. Our last train of the evening was westbound manifest Q409-04 with a nice surprise. The third engine on the lashup was a Bright Future B40-8,downgraded into a B20-8, 5946. A nice way to end the day. Enjoy!
