At 6.45 I make a mistake saying Robin Cook died 7 days after a parliamentary speech against the Iraq-war, in fact it was two months after a speech, and four weeks after an article on Al-Qaeda:
Four weeks before his death, Robin Cook caused a minor stir when he relied on his previous knowledge as Foreign Minister to write in The Guardian:
"Al-Qaida, literally "the database", was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians".
