Using CalMAN 5.1.1 video calibration software, Klein K-10 colorimeter, VideoForge digital video pattern generator (HDMI), and a Sharp Elite display with CalMAN DDC (Direct Device Control), Joel Barsotti, Director of Software Development at SpectraCal, demonstrates the new exclusive algorithm used in CalMAN to fully calibrate both grayscale/white point, and CMS. What makes this unique is the new ability to not only measure and calibrate automatically the one point it's working on correcting (example, 80 IRE), but the points on either side of that point all at the same time in a methodical way that optimizes a display similarly to a professional video calibrator.
