Rosie joined The Animal Support Project's foster/hospice program in late June, 2013. She lives with other foster and hospice animals at the home of TASP volunteers, Rich and Melinda, in upstate NY. Her wounds have healed, leaving just scars here and there. However, the effect of the trauma on her kidneys is permanent and debilitating. With special diet and medical attention, we hope to give Rosie the best life has to offer her. Our partners in this effort are the wonderful people at Borador Animal Hospital in Salem, NY, who are sponsoring her veterinary and dietary needs. Rosie's gentle spirit and cheerful nature are an inspiration to everyone who encounters her. She may be a special needs pet, but she brings us joy and hope every day.
