"The Ruxton Rap" was a satirical creation by the fair dinkum Aussie patriot, Bruce Carlyle Ruxton.

He was the President of the Victorian RSL (1979 to 2002), member of the Order of Australia, officer of the Order of the British Empire, member of the Order of the British Empire, Chevalier of the Order of Merit (France) & Chevalier of the Legion of Honour (France).
