First video of 2012! I came here To Burnt Mill Road to film the Downeaster going by because the last time I came here, I didn't have a tri-pod. Also, I liked this spot. I love how the horn echos through the woods as it approches. I was on the other side of the crossing and then I saw the signal come on that was down by the curve. I then went over to the other side and then not much time passed and then the gates went down. That's why they were already activated when the video started. And I have no idea whe the lights dim on the crossing.
This train was going slow because it had to take the siding because another Amtrak Train was coming shortly after this one. So that's why it was going slow.
And at the end, you see my dog Buster. This was his first time "Train Hunting". I think he liked it.
Leading was Cabbage/NPCU #90220 and on the rear was P-42 #52.
Enjoy!!
