Ingredients! 1 cup cornflakes, 1 egg, 1 cup dried apricots, golden syrup 1tbs, ½ cup raw sugar, ½ cup crushed coconut, 150g melted margarine, ½ cup self-rising whole meal flour. In a bowl, add all the dry ingredients like cornflakes and crush them lightly with hands then add in the coconut, sugar, add chopped apricots, self-rising flour and then add in the wet ingredients; gently beat the egg and put it in, margarine. Mix.It's a good dish for children to make. After mixing add syrup 1tbs and mix. • Now spread this on a baking tray with foil on it then shape it into a square and place them in oven which is preheated for 180C for 20 mins or wait until its golden brown. Cut into pieces when it cools. Its ready. You can use any kind of syrup or honey instead of golden syrup.
