The company that believes in delivering superior products using world-class manufacturing facility is…

Solutions for a World in Motion

AUMA India is a part of the AUMA Group, head-quartered in Germany. Located in Bangalore, AUMA’s world-class manufacturing unit has extensive in-house facilities for designing, manufacturing and testing of Electric Actuators and Valve Gearboxes.

AUMA India sources its inputs from world-class suppliers.

AUMA uses high-end machines for MACHINING of all the critical components in-house.

AUMA uses a number of large Horizontal Machining Centers for complex machining with high precision for making products with high performance.
o Makino A81
o DMC 80 H Duo Block

These machines are equipped with zero point clamping technology for quick set-up.

AUMA uses vertical machining centers of different sizes for standard milling operations. Turning operations take place at various CNC turning centers.
o DMG CTX 510 Eco V3
o DMG CTX Beta 500

AUMA India’s manufacturing unit is well equipped for manufacturing wide variety of gears such as worm, bevel, spur and helical gears
o Liebherr LC 380
o Gleason-Pfauter P 90
o Broaching Machine

“Machining of parts with controlled dimensions is the key to achieve the excellence in manufacturing system”

Machined parts are checked on Three Dimensional Co-ordinate Measuring Machines before approval. Tools are stored in a Lean lift, which can store different parts. This helps in easy storage & retrieval.

AUMA manufactures motors in-house and has facilities for routine and type testing of motors up to 30 kW as per International standards. The critical assemblies of the Gear Trains are done in-house, which are 100% tested for fail-safe operations in the field. Electronic Controls are assembled in an ESD protected area.

AUMA has well equipped in-house electronics R&D lab for developing and testing actuation controls with latest technology.
AUMA has a number of computerized actuator test rigs for testing of each and every actuator up to 30000 Nm for routine or endurance test. Endurance tests as per EN 15714 – 2 standards are conducted by simulating different field conditions to meet customer requirements.

AUMA has a number of high-end leak test instruments. These are installed in-line with actuator test rigs to check all the actuators for grease leakage as well as enclosure protection to meet IP 68 requirements. AUMA’s Test Rigs are equipped with Auto Testing software where in every Actuator gets tested for a large number of performance parameters. This software enables independent testing & recording of the test values to ensure acceptability and traceability. AUMA has type-testing facilities for full range of gearboxes for testing gearboxes up to 360000 Nm. Type tests are carried out at regular intervals to ensure reliability.

AUMA uses energy efficient paint shop with Infrared heating system and motorized conveyor system for complete & quick curing of paint.

“Solar Plant: A new paradigm for AUMA India’s self-generation for captive consumption”

AUMA India is now equipped with a total commissioned capacity of 375 kWp of solar power. This results in the annual reduction of 442 tons of carbon emissions Now, AUMA India is self-sufficient to meet up the company’s overall power requirement during the day and supplies excess power to the local grid.

AUMA India spends a significant amount every year to update existing products and develop new products to meet the evolving customer requirements. In-house Research & Development Centre of AUMA India has been accorded recognition by the Ministry of Science & Technology, New Delhi. AUMA’s design team uses advanced software tools such as
o Solid Works for 3D modeling
o COSMOS for Finite Element Analysis
o KISS Soft for Gear Design
o Automation Studio for designing software for Master control

For safe storage and transit, products are packed in Eco-friendly and aesthetically appealing boxes.
