The Jornales System, Sandatahan Arnis Skaran, has it's roots in the Filipino Martial art of Arnis-Kali-Eskrima. This system includes varied methods of training and drills utilizing assorted sizes of rattan sticks, oriental weaponry, forms and empty hands. Combined with the kicking system of Sikaran and Dumog(Grappling), the result is an effective self-defense system. Sandatahan Arnis Sikaran compliments other martial art styles and encourages an overall balanced system - physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Grand Master Bong Jornales is a native of the Philippines and has been a devout practitioner of the martial arts for over 30 years. He has studied and achieved black belts in various styles as Japanese Okinawan and Korean. From street survival in Manila to years of intense competition resulting in numerous trophies, awards and special recognition, Grand Master Bong has continued to refine the Jornales System.
