It's HERB JEFFRIES 100th Birthday this month! The sole surviving member of Duke Ellington's Orchestra and the Earl Hines Orchestra wil be be celebrating his 100th birthday on September 24, 2013. The public is invited to his big birthday party that will take place on Sep 28-29, 2013 in Apple Valley, CA.
