Kahsahpay is a BLM wild mustang, just 23 days out of the holding pens. This video is shot on the 2nd day she's been outside on a leadrope (she has an outdoor paddock and early training work is done in our indoor roundpen.)
All of our wild mustangs have really bonded over going bicycling -- where they can enjoy being outdoors with a different type of freedom, and their new human lead can actually keep up with their natural pace. This approach dramatically speeds up learning to give with pressure, to trot on a lead, and builds the communication and relationship in a variety of ways.
Kahsahpay is a part of the Trainer Incentive Program, and is available to adopt for just the $125 BLM adoption fee, with no cost to the adopter for the 90 days of professional training she's received as a start toward her new future!
MEET KAHSAHPAY when she is our guest 'speaker' at a natural horsemanship seminar on 10/17/09. Visit her web page for details at cwer.org!
