Celebrating its 8th sensational year , Stomp London is now fresher, faster and funnier than ever before, with new routines, new choreography and new music.
This multi-award winning show has a universal language of rhythm, theatre, comedy and dance. Eight performers use everything from Zippo lighters, plastic bags, bin lids and even the kitchen sink to hammer out an explosively feel good rhythm.
A combination of percussion, movement and visual comedy, Stomp the show was created in Brighton in 1991. Previewing at The Bloomsbury Theatre London, Stomp then played the Edinburgh Festival and between 1991 and 1994, the original cast of Stomp played to capacity audiences around the world culminating in a sell-out season at Sadler's Wells Theatre in 1994, where Stomp received an Olivier nomination for Best Entertainment Award and won Best Choreography Award.
Stomp began its run at the Orpheum Theatre in New York in February 1994 winning an Obie and a Drama Desk Award
The long running Stomp London show started at the Vaudeville Theatre in 2002 before transferring to it's current show at the Ambassadors Theatre , and later that year Stomp performed as part of the Royal Variety Show for the second time.
Stomp is now in its fifth year in London.
