It combines a linear slideway and a ballscrew-nut transmission. The screw of the transmission goes through the centre of the running block carriage. Systems of linear displacement have high stiffness and precision. At the same time they are very compact in size. These drives are used in mechanisms for opening gates as well as in machinery.A rotary electric drive uses rotary movement. The torque of the rotating drive is transferred to the actuator with the help of a rotating spindle or a progressive carriage. A right choice of an electric drive predetermines its safety, reliability, and durability. It also determines specifications of the whole drive.
