These are highlights from Glenn Robinson's final year at Purdue in which he was named Player of the Year by virtually every meaningful publication/group (including Wooden and Naismith awards). He led Purdue to the Big Ten title (1st of 3 consecutive) as he led the nation in scoring (30.3 pts/game) and Big Ten in rebounding (10+/game). He went on to become the #1 player taken in the 1994 NBA Draft and had a very good NBA career (averaging 20.7 pts, 6.1 rebs, 2.7 asts, 1.2 stls for 11 years). After being selected by the Bucks, Glenn and his agent were able to sign a substantial contract of 10 year, $68 million. During the year(s) after this draft, when the NBA collective bargaining agreement was renewed - it was modified so that rookie salaries were to be predetermined in a specific range based on your draft position/selection. He is the second all-time leading scorer in Bucks history.
