Principle for Mac is an animation software aimed at creating interactive user interfaces. It can be utilized for small animations or entire app workflows, and can output touchable prototypes, videos, or GIFs natively. Principle is small, yet robust tool that will feel very familiar if you’ve ever used Sketch.
During the workshop, we will discuss: • Animation 101 • Intro to Principle • Designing in Principle • Animating using the timeline • Paging, scrolling, and drivers • Importing designs
Taught by Bryan Vogel.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR Bryan is an animator & designer, drummer, and aspiring to be Batman. He believes that animation-forward thinking provides a more coherent structure for UI flows, a great opportunity to see if interactions work before any code happens, and a powerful marketing tool.
