When fully operational in 2013, the Agua Caliente Solar Project will earn the distinction of being the world's largest photovoltaic (PV) solar power plant, displacing approximately 220,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) annually--the equivalent of taking about 40,000 cars off the road.
