The last queen of England for perhaps the next 100 years as the next 3 monarchs will be kings.

The queen consort is not considered a monarch even if the king dies. So when King George died, the queen mother did not rule, Elizabeth became queen. Also, Elizabeth is known as Elizabeth the second, not because her mother was Elizabeth, but because of the previous queen Elizabeth, daughter of Henry the 8th. When they have the coronation ceremony, they only crown the monarch, therefore I do not believe kate will ever be "crowned" queen in a formal ceremony. Someone correct me if I am wrong. As for william wanting to be king, what he said was that he doesnt lay awake at night waiting to be king, and that he is not looking forward to it because for that to happen it means his father and grandmother are dead. He said he takes his duty quite seriously and has put a lot of thought into the best way to be a modern King. William will make everyone proud I have no doubt.

People who hate the Queen don't actually know how much the Queen does for us. I'm sick of hearing these comments with people thinking the Queen just sits and watches TV will millions working and paying for the Queen's luxuries.

People should watch the new series The Crown on Netflix. The appreciation I now have for the sovereign is unquestionable. A true bastion of duty and integrity for the greatest institution on planet earth. Long live the Queen

I'm not British but I have always admired Her Majesty's absolute devotion to her nation, her people, and her family. You don't see many like her and the Prince any longer. God Save the Queen!
