How Trinitarian academics ignore the context to make false claims. The contextual facts show us plainly that John is describing how the prophet Isaiah saw and prophesised about the FUTURE Messiah's FUTURE glory. "This was the beginning of the SIGNS Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his GLORY, and his disciples believed in him." Jn 2:11. The GLORY which John is talking about is explained in the immediate context of John 12:41 - the SIGNS Jesus had been doing manifested his glory yet these people did not believe and John tells us plainly that THIS fulfilled what Isaiah prophesied. The context of Jn 12:41 is about the unbelief Isaiah had prophesied even though Jesus manifested his glory in these signs. The prophet Isaiah saw that future glory and their unbelief and he prophesied of that unbelief as both of the quotations from Isaiah express.
