What if it's a master lock and your lock picking skill isn't high enough?

Honestly, the demonstration of this was terrible. The instructions for making the tools was great, but the demonstration? Terrible. Even I, a novice lockpicker, know that you can't rattle a rake in a lock and hope it works. This took you just under two minutes to unlock the lock. I unlocked my lock in a matter of seconds, by running it back and forth, moderately quickly, instead of shaking it around like crazy.

You need to be more gentle with your lock picks. you cant pick a lock by shaking it and hoping it works. Rather ameteur in my opinion.

The government needs to outlaw paper clips now 'cause, obviously, paper clips cause home burglary and home invasions.

From a locksmiths perspective, in a survival situation where Amazon isnt available. These would work great, every lock is different in so any ways. People who think its three seconds to open a lock with proper picks is not well educated on the subject. Sure you can bump, use electric or manual pick guns and all sorts of other bells and whistles, but when it comes down to it. It takes as long as it take. As for this video, the tools would work if needed. They are not perfect but in a survival situation I would be happy to have them.
