In this video, I will guide you through a progressive muscle relaxation session.
This relaxation technique teaches you to relax your muscles through applying tension to certain muscles on purpose, and then stopping the tension and turning your attention to noticing how the muscles relax as the tension flows away.
With this knowledge, you can use physical muscular relaxation at the first signs of the tension that accompanies anxiety. Hopefully as you continue to repeat this process, you will feel your body physically relaxing, and introducing mental calmness in any situation.
