Lyrics:

"Change is what I need" she said as she walked away
"I won't stay in this rotting house another day"
"The weather in this hollow town never changes at all"
"I need some rain and some browning leaves to trigger a smile"

Tell me baby what you're trying to say
Because I don't know if I'm okay
Playgrounds make me sad in that old way
God hopefully, it will me to show you the end

Hope, oh how I hope she will come home today
Scribbling circles thinking of what I'll say
Tiny drawings of a better life start to make sense
Pictures of those browning leaves trigger a smile

Tell me baby what you're trying to say
Because I don't know if I'm okay
Playgrounds make me sad in that old way
God hopefully, it will me to show you the end

Tell me baby what you're trying to say
Because I don't know if I'm okay
Playgrounds make me sad in that old way
God hopefully, it will me to show you the end
