La Carmina ( http://www.lacarmina.com/blog ) wrote a book about Crazy, Wacky Theme Restaurants in Tokyo ( http://www.lacarmina.com/tokyorestaur... ) - so she's been to many strange cafes in Japan. In this video, she and her Goth friends visit KAGAYA, a bizarre izakaya (Japanese pub) where the owner dresses up like a frog, serves shaky drinks and makes you sing for your supper. Is it genius? Is it madness? Watch and decide!

Then, La Carmina and her fre-nemy Cotton Bale visit Shinjuku's Calico Cat Cafe. Many Japanese cannot keep pets, so they visit these cat cafes, where you can pet dozens of cute kitties and drink a paw-print latte.
