Billie's Blues by Ms. Billie Walker from Cincinnati, Ohio. Ms. Billie Walker was a legendary Jazz pianist during the 1950s in Newport,KY Jazz club scene.
Ms. Walker as teenager met Art Tatum and received instruction. She was discovered by Pearl Bailey during her teen years. Later she began singing and playing piano between Newport,KY and New York City during the 50s & 60s. She was offered a contract by MCA.She and her husband where friends of Lena Horne in Cincinnati,Ohio. She with Cannonball Adderley before her solo career. Her piano music was recorded at the Cincinnatian Hotel in Cincinnati,Ohio by Arzell Nelson and Chico McNeal(2006).The video by Arzell"Papazell"Nelson.
