This tutorial was created by Shawn Williamson for the CS 3100 class at Appalachian State University. It covers some basic Unix commands in PuTTY and text editing with vim. It also shows how to compile and run Java programs on the student machine and how to convert and run binary and machine language programs on the LC-3 simulator.
PuTTY is copyright 1997-2012 Simon Tatham. Tutorial recorded with Camtasia Studio 7.
