Let's talk about piracy and what it means. Is it considered theft? vigilantism? Is it an alternate, un-talked-about way to get media, or is it the future? Does it hurt brands or help them?

There's a billboard in Times Square cycling through the following phrases:

Piracy is progress.
Piracy is freedom.
Piracy is harmless.
Piracy is inevitable.
Piracy is robbery.
Piracy is evil.
Piracy is selfish.
Or is it a fad?

It's an ad campaign presented by indie band, Ghost Beach and paid for by American Eagle. It's called "artist vs artist" and its designed to get people talking about what piracy means...which got us talking about it.

You can see more at http://www.artistsvsartists.com/ where you can download the band's album or pirate it, your choice.
