Over the 2010-11 academic year, three professors in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences and their students explored the use of sustainable cotton in textile, apparel and interior design. Their research project was funded through a grant from Cotton, Inc. and culminated in a fashion show and art exhibit at the Valley Performing Arts Center and a series of workshops around the world.
