El Paso police investigate possible anti-Muslim vandalism

Though it hasn't been determined if the vandalism in El Paso was motivated by bias, there has been a surge of anti-Muslim incidents reported nationwide, said a spokesman for the nation's largest Muslim civil rights group.
"Unfortunately, we've seen a recent spike in anti-Muslim hate rhetoric and now anti-Muslim hate incidents," said Ibrahim Hooper, national communications director for the Council on America-Islamic Relations.
